WATERCOOLER CHAT: NBA PLAYOFFS AND INDY 500
The Los Angeles Lakers now lead the San Antonio Spurs 2-1 in the series after losing 103-84 against the Spurs in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals. The Spurs Manu Ginobili was the star of game 3 with 30 points while playing with a sore ankle and ripped fingernail (doesn't sound like much, but if you've ever had one... ouch!!!). Game 4 is Tuesday in San Antonio.
Indianapolis 500
After 13 years, the Indy 500 is now a unified race. What does this mean? There was a spat that lead to two different open-wheel racing teams: the Champ Car series and the Indy Racing League. The spat is now over and it's one big happy family again...and, thank goodness because Sunday's Indy 500 was truly a spectacle.
New Zealand's Scott Dixon won this historic event amidst plenty of crashes (thankfully no one hurt) and lots of drama.
All eyes, of course, were on Danica Patrick who was racing in the top 10 until she was hit on pit road. Patrick is no shrinking flower. She got out of her car and headed straight toward the driver who hit her, Ryan Briscoe. She was clearly looking for a fight, but was stopped by security. This is one tough gal!

Danica Patrick is a real poor looser! What did she think to accomplish if she was to get to Brisco's pit area? She appears to complain about alot of things instead of just dealing with them. Sorry for the fans. She can race no doubt, but I think a even tempered individual would be a better choice for future young racers....especially girls thinking of the race profession.
