The ESPY's, a celebration of the best sports stories of the year presented by ESPN (of course) and voted online by the fans, taped it's 16 annual event Wed. night. Not a lot of surprises in store, but if you plan to watch it Sunday night at 9:00 pm on ESPN, don't read any further. Justin Timberlake hosted and a list of other Celebs presented: Lance Armstrong, Jason Bateman, David Beckham, Kristen Bell, Sophia Bush, Ashanti, Zac Efron, Brendan Fraser, Samuel L. Jackson, Jet Li, Steve Nash, David Ortiz, Candace Parker, Danica Patrick, Annika Sorenstam, Kate Walsh and Luke Wilson.

Some of the highlights of the night:

The New York Giants won in 3 categories (best game, best play, and best upset) for its win in the Super Bowl.

Tiger Woods won best Male Athlete

Boston Celtics won best Team

Brett Favre won an ESPY for breaking Dan Marino's touchdown record and won the award for Best Record Breaking Performance.

Speaking of Favre, he's still all over the news. He says he wants to come back, the Packers won't release him, and now the Packers have filed tampering charges against the Minnesota Vikings for "inappropriate dialogue" with the Vikings Offensive Coordinator, who happens to be a good friend of Favres.
