MLB Trading Deadline Update

It finally happened.....Manny Ramirez is no longer a Boston Red Sox.....he's going to LA LA Land. The Boston Red Sox and the outspoken Manny have spit. Manny was acquired by the Los Angeles Dodgers in a three team trade that sent Jason Bay from Pittsburgh to Boston.The Dodgers also received cash considerations.

Brett Favre Update

This story just keeps getting sadder and more pathetic. So now the news is that the Packers offered Favre $20-25 million dollars to remain the property of Green Bay (but according to some reports, not actually play). So basically it looks as if Green Bay is offering to pay off Favre so he will not play for any other NFC rivals. This whole story is so upsetting because it tarnishes one of the Greatest Quarterbacks to ever play the game and tarnishes one of the most storied franchises in the NFL.
